Unlawful Conduct - Industrial or Commercial Zone Buildings. <br /> 3 It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to own, <br /> occupy or use any building located in any commercial or <br /> 4 industrial use district established by the city zoning code and <br /> within one thousand feet of a city water main, unless such <br /> 5 building is within one hundred sixty-five feet of a fire hydrant. <br /> 6 Being the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> K. Existing Buildings . The owner of any building existing on <br /> 13 November 23, 1970, which is required in this chapter to be <br /> located within one hundred sixty-five feet of a fire hydrant, <br /> 14 may be owned, occupied or used until July 1, 1972, notwith- <br /> standing any other provision of this chapter, but may not be <br /> 15 owned, occupied or used thereafter unless it fully complies <br /> with the provisions of this chapter. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Being the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 18 M. Existing Buildings. The owner of any building existing on <br /> the date of adoption of this ordinance, which is required in <br /> 19 this chapter to be located within two hundred feet of a fire <br /> hydrant, may be owned, occupied or used 180 days after the <br /> 20 adoption of this ordinance, notwithstanding any other pro- <br /> vision of this chapter, but may not be owned, occupied, or <br /> 21 used thereafter unless it fully complies with the provisions <br /> 22 of this chapter. <br /> 23 Section 5: That there is hereby added to EMC 14.16.600 paragraph (N) <br /> 24 which shall read as follows: <br /> 25 N. Notification of Connection. The Everett Fire Department shall <br /> hereinafter be notified when any fire hydrant is connected, <br /> 26 placed in service, which shall include any connection and <br /> 27 initial service of hydrant installed by a public agency or <br /> private party. <br /> 28 <br /> Section 6: That there is hereby added to EMC 14.16.600 paragraph (0) <br /> 29 <br /> which shall read as follows: <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
