Drawings and General Provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br /> Conditions apply to this Section. <br /> 1.2 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> A. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials,parts, implements, and supplies necessary to install a Brock <br /> SP 14 Shock Pad as per plans and specifications.No substitutions. <br /> 1.3 RELATED WORK <br /> A. Section 33 1100 -Rock Aggregate Installation <br /> B. Section 32 2100-Drainage and Sub-Grade Establishment <br /> C. Section 32 1822-Infilled Synthetic Turf <br /> 1.4 CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS <br /> A. Contractor shall be a technician experienced in the application and thoroughly familiar with the <br /> systems specification, criteria, and equipment employed in the process. The crew shall have <br /> installed a minimum of five successful installations in North America in the last five years. Provide <br /> written proof of installations including project names and locations along with dates of installation. <br /> 1.5 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. The finished system shall be properly compacted, uniform in density, thickness and tolerance to <br /> grade and suitable as a base for an athletic caliber artificial turf fabric covering. <br /> B. Contractor shall fine grade, roll, and compact and warranty the sub-base as per plans and <br /> specifications. Prior to installation of the shock pad, the sub-base shall be inspected by the <br /> Contractor by means of a laser level with a minimum of 500 shots noted. Planarity of the rock sub- <br /> base limits shall be+1/8"to-0". <br /> PART 2-MATERIALS <br /> 2.1 SHOCK PAD <br /> A. Shall be Brock® SP 14 Shock Pad.
