The surface to receive the synthetic turf shall be inspected and certified by the manufacturer as ready <br /> for the installation of the synthetic turf system and must be perfectly clean as installation commences <br /> and shall be maintained by the Synthetic Turf Installation Contractor in that condition throughout the <br /> process. <br /> C. The Infill Synthetic Turf Contractor will have a supervisor on site at all times of turf installation and <br /> will be able to make on spot decisions for his company. The Artificial Turf Installation Contractor <br /> supervisory personnel will be the same entities throughout the Turf Installation process. <br /> 3.2 INSTALLATION of TREATED WOOD <br /> A. After curbs to be worked have been inspected and approved by Owner, Landscape Architect and <br /> Synthetic Turf Installer. Contractor will secure wood to curbs and walls as per detail drawiings. <br /> Establish grade elevation on walls using laser level. Establish a chalk line on curbs connecting laser <br /> level locations no greater than 25' apart. <br /> B. Secure wood tight to concrete face so that if the wood `cups' the edges shall stay tight to the concrete. � <br /> Each length of wood will be secured using split drive fasteners located 9"from the end of the board and <br /> no farther than three feet (3') between fasteners. No rock will be allowed between concrete curb and <br /> wood nailing piece. <br /> C.
