SUMMARY OF THE WORK <br /> 010100 - 2 <br /> Alternate Bid No. 2C: All labor and materials associated with installation <br /> of sports lighting, including concrete base foundations for steel poles by <br /> "G. E." <br /> 2. CONTRACTOR USE OF PREMISES <br /> 2.1 Access: The Contractor will be allowed access to Work area during the following I <br /> times; Monday through Friday, 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Access to the Work area <br /> during times other than as previously described, must be authorized by the <br /> District's Project Manager. <br /> 2.2 The Contractor's access to the Work area shall be limited as shown on the <br /> Contract Documents unless otherwise approved by the Owner. <br /> a. Construction staging area: All construction equipment and supplies shall be <br /> stored in this area. <br /> b. Parking: There is limited parking on the site. The Contractor and his <br /> employees shall park only in the areas designated on the Site Plan. <br /> 2.3 Keep driveway and entrances clear at all times. Do not use these areas for parking <br /> or storage of materials. Schedule deliveries to minimize requirements for storage <br /> of materials. <br /> 2.4 Maintain the existing buildings in a weathertight condition throughout the <br /> construction period. Repair all damage caused by construction operations. Take <br /> all precautions necessary to protect the interior and exterior of the buildings <br /> during the construction period. <br /> 2.5 Contractor is responsible to protect all existing properties, equipment, structures, <br /> and finishes in the building and on the site from any damage related to <br /> construction. Contractor is responsible for replacement should any damage occur. <br /> 2.6 Enclosure Fence: <br /> a. Install an enclosure fence with lockable entrance gates to enclose equipment, <br /> materials and the construction area as required to ensure safety of persons using <br /> the site after hours. The enclosure fence shall be constructed of fence posts <br /> driven into the ground, with chain link fabric attached to posts. <br /> 3. OWNER OCCUPANCY <br /> 3.1 Partial Owner Occupancy: The Owner reserves the right to place and install <br /> equipment as necessary in completed areas of the site and to occupy such <br /> completed areas prior to Substantial Completion. <br /> 3.2 The school campus will be occupied during the school year as defined by the <br /> Owner and the school calendar. The Contractor and his Subcontractors are <br /> required to factor this into their bid and coordinate their work as required, taking <br /> into consideration the following: <br /> 02/19/13 <br /> I <br />
