If you have any questions regarding these
comments,please contact Sabrina Fandler(425-257-7813 or SFandler@everettwa.gov).
a. Please see all redlines on the attached plans for required corrections in addition to all
comments listed below. Frequently, redlines will be stand-alone and will not have an
associated item in this corrections letter. Likewise, comments below may not have
associated redlines.
b. In general, please add sheet titles to each individual sheet. Suggested location would be
under the sheet number, but you can place it anywhere in the title block or lower right-
hand corner of the drawings, wherever makes the most sense for your drawings.
c. Please see revisions to Wet Weather Grading and SWPPP Notes on sheet C-03, and
apply revisions to all other sheets that this note series appears on.
d. Please see redlines/revisions on sheet C-04 for your SWPPP elements evaluation. In
general, please list the BMP number and name that has been selected to address each
element.
e. The City's `Design and Construction Standards and Specification for Development'
manual were updated at the beginning of the year. This revision significantly changed
the naming and numbering of several standard drawings. Please see the redlines
provided on sheet C-06 for corrections, apply them to all plan sheets and callouts
throughout the drawing set, and check that other references are updated to current
standards.
f. Please update the currently shown 15' water easement to the City of Everett to include
the easement around the back side of the meter(s) and around the fire hydrants. The
easement shall be 5' on one side of the main and 10' on the other (as currently shown).
The portion of the easement around the hydrant shall extend 5' beyond the hydrant. The
width of the easement around the meters and the fire hydrants shall be 15', on center. If
other utilities encroach into this easement, it is acceptable. The easement will only be for
maintenance on the water lines.
g. Please see redlines on sheet C-11 for water line design revisions. A gate valve should be
added to each fire hydrant, 45 degree bends with MegaLugs or equal shall be used
instead of 90 degree bends, wherever possible, update construction note 5 as redlined,
and update the Everett Water Notes as redlined.
h. On sheet C-12, please add an 8" cleanout on the City's side of the fence (right-of-way)
for the City to be able to maintain the side sewer from the right-of-way line to the main.
Page 2 of 9t'
