plumbing over 30 feet in height must have a Double Check Valve Assembly <br /> (DCVA) at the premise. <br /> 10. A DCVA is required on the premise for irrigation. <br /> 11. A Double Check Detector Valve Assembly (DCDA) is required for fire service. <br /> 12. According to the City of Everett Public Works Department, ideally the fire room <br /> should be located near the corner of the building in order to be within 70 feet of <br /> the water main. If it is within 70 feet of the connection to the water main, the <br /> DCDA and RPBA can be located within the fire room. If it is beyond 70 feet, <br /> the DCDA and the RPBA must be located in a vault outside of the building. <br /> 13. For all water connections to the City main and fire hydrant installations, the <br /> Applicant shall note on the plans a requirement for the Applicant to coordinate <br /> with City of Everett Water Department for City crews to perform the work. <br /> 14. The Applicant shall note on the plans that all new water mains on-site must <br /> have purity prior to final connection. <br /> 15. The Applicant shall add gate valves on either side of the tee for fire hydrants. <br /> 16. Water meter sizes may only be one inch or two inches. The Applicant shall <br /> adjust plans to reflect the correct size needed for the water demand. <br /> 17. All roadways must meet City of Everett Standards or be designed to handle <br /> increased truck loading. <br /> 18. All traffic control markings and devices on driveways within 50 feet of the right- <br /> of-way shall be Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) <br /> compliant. <br /> 19. A stop sign must be added to each access point. <br /> 20. Site access driveways shall comply with City of Everett Standards. Driveway <br /> widths in excess of 35 feet shall require engineering analysis for justification to <br /> support a wider driveway. Analysis that was provided with SEPA is <br /> acceptable. <br /> 21. The parking layout must be consistent with current City of Everett Standards, <br /> including, but not limited to, parking aisle widths and parking stall dimensions. <br /> 22. Pursuant to EMC 14.08.135 (Ordinance 3095-08) and subsequent revisions, <br /> special charges for connection to the sewer and water systems are to be <br /> made. These charges are based on projected water usage and can be <br /> substantial. The Applicant shall obtain a copy of the Ordinance and determine <br /> `116 <br /> 1 <br />
