City of Everett 01 1100 - 2 <br /> Evergreen Branch Library Expansion 2017-008 <br /> 2. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies and other <br /> items necessary to construct and complete the work in accordance with the <br /> drawings, these specifications, and the Laws, Ordinances and codes of the <br /> governing Agencies having jurisdiction; all complete and ready for use and <br /> occupancy; and, as identified and described above. <br /> 3. The Contract Form is provided in the Contract Documents section of this project <br /> manual. This Form of Contract herein may be subject to change due to changes <br /> in the state indemnity law and for other considerations deemed appropriate or <br /> necessary by the City prior to contract signing. <br /> F. ADDITIONS TO, OR DEDUCTIONS FROM, THE CONTRACT: The authorization of all <br /> Additions to, or Deductions from, labor and materials, as called for in the Contract, shall <br /> be given only upon the Owner's printed form bearing the signatures of the Owner, the <br /> Contractor, and the Architect/Engineer. The form shall list the Work and materials <br /> involved, and shall state the amount to be added to, or deducted from,the Contract Price, <br /> giving the cost of labor and materials, and the percentage added for Overhead and Profit. <br /> This form shall be completed prior to starting the Work involved. <br /> 1.2 CHANGES IN THE WORK , <br /> A. OVERHEAD AND PROFIT: Change orders will be calculated based on the provisions <br /> in Section 00710. No additional Overhead and Profit shall be applied to Deductive <br /> Change Orders. <br /> B. COSTS SHALL BE LIMITED TO: Cost of materials, cost of delivery, cost of labor, <br /> including Social Security, Old Age and Unemployment Insurance, fringe benefits under <br /> collective bargaining agreements, and Workmen's Compensation Insurance; bond <br /> premiums; and rental value of power tools and equipment, supervision; superintendence; <br /> wages of timekeepers, watchmen and clerks; and the cost of hand tools. <br /> 1.3 WORK BY OTHERS , <br /> A. OTHER CONTRACTS: The Owner shall have the right to let other Contracts in <br /> connection with the Work, and the Contractor shall cooperate with any such Contractors. , <br /> B. "N.I.C." Items indicated "NIC" shall be furnished and installed by the Owner, or by other <br /> Contracts. I <br /> 1.4 WORK BY THE OWNER <br /> A. The Owner shall have the right to access the site and execute work not included in the I <br /> Contract concurrent with this contract period.
