The Artist shall provide all temporary bracing/shoring required to balance or to <br /> offset any point loading. <br /> ' 4. Artist shall provide a structure (crate) designed to securely store the sculpture <br /> during transportation, unloading/offloading of the sculpture, storage of the <br /> sculpture, transport back to the installation site and installation of the sculpture. <br /> 5. After the sculpture has been installed, the Artist shall inspect and clean sculpture. <br /> 1.7 CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE <br /> A. Artwork: <br /> 1. The Contractor is responsible for all elements of the art installation site including <br /> safety, coordination of the work, working with the artist and assisting as required <br /> to ensure a successful project. <br /> 2. The Contractor is responsible for all work associated with the installation of the <br /> artwork including anchor points, weight distribution, and ensuring artwork is <br /> centered. <br /> 3. The Contractor shall coordinate placement of all items with the Artist. <br /> ' B. Components that are required to be physically attached to the artwork shall be reviewed <br /> for location and methods used with the Artist prior to attachment. The Contractor shall <br /> review the type of fasteners and methods used to install fasteners with the Artist and <br /> Owner. The Contractor shall be responsible to provide all approved fasteners within this <br /> contract. At a minimum, all fasteners shall be anti-theft and stainless steel. This <br /> excludes the manufactured parts that are supplied by the Artist, but the Contractor is to <br /> provide support as required to assist artist in placement and installation of these artwork. <br /> C. Art: <br /> 1. The Contractor is responsible to protect the artwork from harm during removal, <br /> transportation, storage and installation. <br /> 2. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Artist all work required to remove, <br /> transport and install the statue. <br /> 1 3. No work around the statue shall commence until the artwork has been protected <br /> by the Artist. <br /> 4. The Contractor shall provide secure and safe storage of the artwork during the <br /> ' contract. <br /> 5. The Contractor shall create an as-built of the location of the art work. After <br /> construction is completed, the statue is to be reinstalled in its current location. <br /> ' 6. The Contractor shall utilize appropriate tools, labor and methods while working <br /> around the artwork. <br /> 7. The Contractor is responsible to provide lifting services to safely install the artwork. <br /> 8. The Contractor is responsible to provide assistance to the Artist and to follow the <br /> ' direction of the Artist during removal, transportation/storage and reinstallation of <br /> the art work. <br /> 9.
