City Responsibilities: <br /> • City will take the lead in tasks associated with bidding the project including bid <br /> advertisement, addenda distribution, plan holder administrations, bid evaluation, bid <br /> tabulation, etc. <br /> • City will be the lead in receiving questions from bidders, subcontractors, equipment <br /> suppliers and other vendors. Upon referral from the City, Murraysmith will respond to <br /> questions. <br /> • City will pay costs associated with bid advertisement and publications. <br /> Assumptions: <br /> • Up to 20 questions from bidders will be responded to by Murraysmith <br /> • Up to five addenda will be issued by the City with support from Murraysmith <br /> • The pre-bid site meeting will be attended by up to three Murraysmith team members. <br /> Task 227 — Subconsultant Services <br /> Objective: <br /> This task includes the specialty services to be provided by Murraysmith's subconsultants for final <br /> design, as described below. <br /> Activities: <br /> 227.1 Geotechnical Engineering <br /> GeoEngineers will provide geotechnical engineering services to assist the design team and provide <br /> recommendations related to demolition in-place of the existing reservoir and proposed <br /> improvements for the new reservoir foundation, storage building foundation, retaining wall, and <br /> stormwater elements. A more detailed description of the services to be provided follows: <br /> a. Review available data and completed 30% preliminary design plans; coordinate with <br /> Murraysmith and City for planning additional field exploration locations. <br /> b. Meet with City, confirm boring locations, coordinate utility locates through One-Call <br /> and private utility locator. <br /> c. Perform borings using drilling subcontractor at up to three locations for up to 120 feet <br /> of total drilling footage. Maintain log of each boring and collect samples onsite. <br /> Cuttings to remain onsite in area designated by City. <br /> d. Evaluate soils from field explorations and geotechnical lab tests performed on collected <br /> samples. <br /> e. Develop recommendations for soldier pile wall near south side of Reservoir 4. <br /> f.
