The comments below must be addressed before a permit can <br /> be issued. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments including Public Works, Planning, and Fire. <br /> Code citations provided in the following comments reference the 2015 International Building Code <br /> (IBC), the 2015 International Existing Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 International Property <br /> Maintenance Code (IPMC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International <br /> Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2015 International Energy Conservation (IECC), and the <br /> Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). The current IBC referenced standard for accessible <br /> design is the 2009"Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities"(ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal <br /> ADA, FHA, and HUD regulations and standards, including the Fair Housing Accessibility Guidelines, <br /> may be more restrictive. References to other design standards include the current edition. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation should be <br /> submitted to the Building Division for review: <br /> a. Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below. <br /> b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. <br /> c. One copy of supplemental structural calculations. <br /> d. <br /> Submittal documents shall contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project <br /> for compliance with the adopted codes.
