The plans should indicate that an approved, automatic fire detection system will be <br />provided as required per City of Everett Ord. 1902-92 § l, 1992. Permits may be applied <br />for at tlie fire marshal's office. <br />3. Building data information should be provided on a coversheet to include the building <br />area, type of construction, occupancies and occupant load. Section 106.33 <br />4. The exterior wall on the west property line should be of one-hour fire-resistive <br />construction per Table 5-A. The listing and details of construction should be provided. <br />5. The mezzanine is greater than 1/3 the area of the lower floor and should therefore be <br />classified as a 2"d story. Section 507 <br />6. The method of providing ventilation should be provided. Section 1202.2 <br />7. The locations of any windows should be shown on the elevations. <br />8. Guazdrail details should be provided, and locations noted on the plans. Section 509.1 <br />Exitmg <br />1. The location of the egress doors should be shown on the fluor plan. Section l 0U 1.1 <br />2. Construction plans of the stairs should be provided. The details should show the rise <br />(7.5" max), run (11" min), handrails, guardrails and structural attachments. Section <br />1003.33 <br />3. The use of all spaces should be noted on the plans. If the second story is to be office <br />space, the occupant load would be greater than 10 and a second stairway would be <br />required. Section 1004.2.3.2 <br />Accessibility <br />1. A van-accessible parking space should be sliown. It must be a minimum of 8' wide with <br />an 8' wide access aisle. Section I 107.1.5 <br />2. An accessible route of travel should be provided connecting the new building to the <br />existing building and the public way. Section 1103.2.2 <br />3.
