a) a wetpond <br />b) a construcred wetland <br />16. All storm water facilities shall be designed in accordance with City standards. If <br />none of the above storm water treatment options are feasible, in the opinion of the <br />City's Public Works Department, a biofiltration swale (designed and constructed in <br />accordance with Ciry standards) shall be required to treat storm water runoff. <br />17. A NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) permit, administered <br />by Washington State's Department of Ecology, may be required for this site. <br />18. Construct a new sanitary sewer main along Railway Avenue for service te this <br />property. Any other means of sewage disposal will require approval by the City of <br />Everett Public Works Director and the Snohomish Health District. Potential sewer <br />solutions might include; forming an LID to facilitate funding constcuction; <br />establishing a Latecomers Agreement to possibly recoup some construction costs; <br />contributing a pro-rata share of the estimated construction cost to the ciry and <br />temporarily utilizing a sewage holding tank (if approved hy the Snohomish Health <br />District). <br />19. lf the potential will exist for accidental spills of chemicals, including oils or fuels, <br />the city's sanitary sewer, and Accidental Spill Prevention Plan will need to be <br />prepared per the direction of the city's Industrial Pretreatment Program. <br />20. All chemicals or products of a hazardous or toxic nature must be stored under cover <br />and isolated from the storm drainage system. <br />21. Proposed uses of the site must comply with all city policies and regulations <br />preventing contamination of surface waters. <br />22. Pumped wasrewater from bilges or sanitary holding tanks may not be discharged to <br />surface waters or to die storm drain system. Discharge must ocwr to the sanitary <br />sewer. <br />23. Wastewater from boat wash downs or pressure washing of boat hulls or other boat <br />parts may not be discharged to surface waters or die storm drain system. This <br />wastewater should be recyded and re-used with evenmal discharge to the sanitary <br />sewer. <br />24. Thc applicant will need to obtain a discharge permit from the Ciry of EveretYs <br />Industrial Pretreatment Program for discharge to the sanitary sewer of bilge, <br />sanitary hulding tank, and pressure wash wastewaters. <br />% <br />9 <br />
