I CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS b. Increase the number of working hours per shift, shifts per working day, I working days per week, or the amount of Equipment, or any combination of the foregoing. c. Reschedule activities. I If requested by the City's Representative, the Contractor shall prepare a proposed schedule revision demonstrating a plan to make up the lag in progress and insure completion of the Work within the Contract Time. All actions taken to return the Project to the accepted schedule are at the Contractor's expense. The Contractor shall pay all costs incurred by the City that result from the Contractor's action to return the Project to its accepted schedule, including, but not limited to, additional, overtime, or third party inspection, design and construction management service costs. Contractor agrees that City shall deduct such charges from payments due the Contractor. It is further understood and agreed that none of the services performed by the City's Representative in monitoring, reviewing and reporting Project status and I progress shall relieve the Contractor of responsibility for planning and managing construction Work in conformance with the construction schedule. 1-08.4(2) Special Construction Constraints I (******) 1. The Contractor shall plan and schedule the project to give priority to construction of the Stormwater separation network and Stormwater treatment units so that all such I work (Schedule B) is substantially complete no later than November 25, 2019. This is necessary to meet Washington State Department of Ecology grant reimbursement deadlines. I 2. Construction of this project (Cleveland Avenue Sewer Project) must be planned and scheduled to coordinate and minimize negative impacts on the neighborhood residents and businesses. I 3. The size and extent of excavation, trenching and backfill areas must be limited in order to minimize loss of on street parking, maximize access for residents and to expedite temporary restoration and cleanup. Excessive work area size or multiple I active work areas, will not be allowed. Multiple work areas may be allowed if they are relatively small, do not complicate traffic control and are otherwise deemed acceptable by the CPL. I 4. The duration of street or alley closures for the Contractors work activities shall be minimized. The Contractor shall not restrict ingress, egress, parking, and other uses or access by local residents. to any given section (1 block) of street or alley for a I cumulative period of time exceeding 7 calendar days. At the end of each workday, the Contractor shall 1 re-open streets or alleys to allow vehicle access to the maximum extent possible. 5. Use of "double/transfer" haul trucks is limited to Cleveland Ave., Harrison Ave and I Everett Ave. only. On side residential side streets and alleys etc. the Contractor must use "solo" dump truck. The Contractor may be directed to not use some streets as truck haul routes in order to avoid damaging old pavement surfaces and to avoid conflicting with detour routes for the public. A specific truck haul route plan shall be I prepared by the Contractor and submitted to the City for review and approval in advance of all Work.
