Increase the number of working hours per shift, shifts per working day, <br /> I working days per week, or the amount of Equipment, or any combination of <br /> the foregoing. <br /> c. Reschedule activities. <br /> I If requested by the City's Representative, the Contractor shall prepare a proposed <br /> schedule revision demonstrating a plan to make up the lag in progress and insure <br /> completion of the Work within the Contract Time. All actions taken to return the Project <br /> to the accepted schedule are at the Contractor's expense. <br /> The Contractor shall pay all costs incurred by the City that result from the Contractor's <br /> action to return the Project to its accepted schedule, including, but not limited to, <br /> additional, overtime, or third party inspection, design and construction management <br /> service costs. Contractor agrees that City shall deduct such charges from payments due <br /> the Contractor. It is further understood and agreed that none of the services performed <br /> by the City's Representative in monitoring, reviewing and reporting Project status and <br /> I progress shall relieve the Contractor of responsibility for planning and managing <br /> construction Work in conformance with the construction schedule. <br /> 1-08.4(2) Special Construction Constraints <br /> I (******) <br /> 1. The Contractor shall plan and schedule the project to give priority to construction of <br /> the Stormwater separation network and Stormwater treatment units so that all such <br /> I work (Schedule B) is substantially complete no later than November 25, 2019. This <br /> is necessary to meet Washington State Department of Ecology grant reimbursement <br /> deadlines. <br /> I 2. Construction of this project (Cleveland Avenue Sewer Project) must be planned and <br /> scheduled to coordinate and minimize negative impacts on the neighborhood <br /> residents and businesses. <br /> I 3. The size and extent of excavation, trenching and backfill areas must be limited in <br /> order to minimize loss of on street parking, maximize access for residents and to <br /> expedite temporary restoration and cleanup. Excessive work area size or multiple <br /> I active work areas, will not be allowed. Multiple work areas may be allowed if they <br /> are relatively small, do not complicate traffic control and are otherwise deemed <br /> acceptable by the CPL. <br /> I 4. The duration of street or alley closures for the Contractors work activities shall be <br /> minimized. The Contractor shall not restrict ingress, egress, parking, and other uses <br /> or access by local residents. to any given section (1 block) of street or alley for a <br /> I cumulative period of time exceeding 7 calendar days. The Contractor shall not <br /> restrict ingress, egress, parking, and other uses or access by local businesses or <br /> institutions to any given section (1 block) of street or alley for a cumulative period of <br /> time exceeding 3 calendar days. At the end of each workday, the Contractor shall <br /> 1 re-open streets or alleys to allow vehicle access to the maximum extent possible. <br /> 5. Use of "double/transfer" haul trucks is limited to Cleveland Ave., Harrison Ave and <br /> I Everett Ave. only. On side residential side streets and alleys etc. the Contractor must <br /> use "solo" dump truck. The Contractor may be directed to not use some streets as <br /> truck haul routes in order to avoid damaging old pavement surfaces and to avoid <br /> conflicting with detour routes for the public.
