I <br /> I <br /> The unit price per hour bid for Street Cleaning and Sweeping shall be full compensation for all <br /> III labor, tools, incidentals, and equipment necessary to provide the street sweeping, cleaning, and <br /> dust control required for this project, <br /> No separate payment will be made for water required for dust control and the normal operation <br /> of the pickup sweepers. No allowance will be made for time consumed in making repairs to the <br /> equipment or for moving the equipment to or from the site on which the street cleaning is <br /> Iordered. <br /> Measurement for street sweeping and cleaning and debris removal shall be the number of hours <br /> Iverified and documented by the City's Inspector. <br /> Bid Items A-13 and B-13 —TRENCH EXCAVATION SAFETY SYSTEMS <br /> ISpecification Section 2-09 <br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum <br /> IThe lump sum bid item includes the costs directly allocated to the safety system for trenches <br /> and all other excavations including, but not limited to, shoring, benching, bracing, excavation, <br /> sheeting, and trench box. This bid item shall be accomplished in accordance with Divisions 1, 2, <br /> I 7, and 8 of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. Payment per lump sum includes <br /> all equipment, materials, labor, installation, and removal, and all other work required to meet the <br /> trench excavation and safety system requirements. Bidders' attention is directed to the following <br /> Ilaws and regulations: <br /> Chapter 39.04.180 of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) <br /> IPart N of Chapter 296-155 of the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) <br /> Chapter 47.17 of RCW (Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act) <br /> I29CFR1926 of OSHA <br /> Failure to comply with this shall be considered conclusive evidence that the Bid is non- <br /> Iresponsive and, therefore, subject to rejection. <br /> Shoring shall be constructed with provisions made to allow the Inspector to enter shored trench <br /> 1 at any time. <br /> Measurement for trench excavation safety systems shall be the ratio of pipe installed and <br /> Ibackfilled to the total quantity of pipe listed on the proposal. <br /> Bid Items A-14 and B-14—CONTROLLED DENSITY FILL (CDF) <br /> ISpecification Section 2-09 <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Cubic Yard <br /> I <br /> I Cleveland Avenue Division B—BID ITEM DESCRIPTIONS November 2018 <br /> Sewer System Replacement and <br /> Storm Water Separation <br /> IWO No. UP3398 SP-35 <br />
