All costs in jointing dissimilar side sewer pipe with a coupling or concrete collar shall be included in the unit price for this bid item. Restoration of private improvements in streets and private property affected by side sewer ' construction and not otherwise included in other bid items, shall be considered incidental to this bid item. Except, where restoration of private improvements listed in item 1 under of Force Account Bid Item, and as authorized by the Engineer, that restoration work will be done by Force Account. Measurement for pay width of gravel borrow for trench backfill shall not exceed that necessary to meet trench safety requirements, COE Standard Drawings or Plan Details, whichever is greater. Bid Items A-29 and B-39 — TEMPORARY SEDIMENTATION AND EROSION CONTROL ' Specification Section 8-01 Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum ' The lump sum bid item for Temporary Erosion and Sedimentation Control, shall be full compensation for materials, work, labor and equipment necessary to provide erosion control, complete and in place throughout the term of the Contract including preparing the Stormwater ' Pollution Prevention (SWPP) plan and implementing; providing the erosion and sediment control (ECS) lead to implement and update the TESC plan; and all costs for temporary and permanent erosion control measures needed to prevent silt from entering the storm drain, trenches or water courses or surrounding property as required in permits or as necessitated by current field ' conditions, climate, weather conditions and the Contractor's activities. Included in the lump sum price for this bid item are all costs for additional temporary erosion ' control measures which may be required to support the Contractor's construction methods, including but not limited to, settling and filtering of water from dewatering operations, catch basin inserts, diversion and control of surface runoff into or out of trenches, street cleaning, including sweeping and washing, straw mulch, protection of delivered or stockpiled backfill materials, protection of unsuitable or surplus materials and control, care and cleanup of petroleum products or other construction byproducts.
