Bid Items A-32 and B-43 — CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK, DRIVEWAY AND ALLEY <br /> ' APPROACH, 6-INCH THICKNESS <br /> Specification Section 8-06 <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard <br /> ' The unit price per square yard of Cement Concrete Sidewalk, Driveway and Alley Approach, 6- <br /> Inch Thick shall be full compensation for replacement or installation of concrete sidewalk, <br /> driveway or alley approach impacted by construction activities and/or shown on the Contract <br /> Plans in accordance with the COE Standard Drawings and these Special Provisions. <br /> ' The cost of sawcutting, removing and disposing of sidewalk and driveways is included in <br /> Roadway Excavation Bid Item. <br /> ' Measurement shall be per square yard as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the <br /> Inspector prior to removal. <br /> ' Deductions will be made for blocked out areas, castings, or other discontinuities in the sidewalk <br /> 9 square feet or larger. <br /> ' Measurements for"Gravel Borrow" to be used as fill for sidewalk subgrade will be by the ton as <br /> recorded on certified weight tickets per Section 1-09.1 and is included in Gravel Borrow Bid <br /> Item. <br /> Measurement for "Crushed Surfacing Top Course" to be used under this Bid item will be by the <br /> ' ton as recorded on certified weight tickets per Section 1-09.1 and is included in Crushed <br /> Surfacing Top Course Bid Item. <br /> ' The unit contract price for this Bid item shall include all costs for the work required to construct <br /> the sidewalk as specified, including the earth work required to excavate excess material or <br /> place fill to achieve design subgrade elevations. <br /> Bid Item B-44— SURVEY MONUMENTS <br /> Specification Section 8-13 <br /> ' Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each <br /> The unit price per each for Survey Monument shall be full compensation for furnishing and <br /> ' placing the survey monument and monument case and cover, in accordance with the COE <br /> Standard Drawings and Standard Specifications, Special Provisions Section 8-13, in conformity <br /> with the lines and locations shown on the Plans.
