PIPING FROST RAIL SYSTEM:
1 ) . Refrigeration Tech - PLEASE FOLLOW DRAWINGS.
2) . Line sizes - 1 /2" Liquid and 5/8" Suction lines with 3/4"
thickness insulation on suction line.
3) . maximum run with one ICE-75 units
4) . Do not on copper lines that are passing
through the bar top. This will create dead spots at
the joints of the FRails.
5) . There is not a correct direction for the refrigeration
circuit in the FRails - in and out does not matter.
However, if you feed the circuit on the left side, stay
consistent with all the circuits.
6) . Position TXV so that feeder tuoes are the same
length. Never cut excess lines coming off the
distributor, simply coil up any extra copoer.
7) . TXV bulbs needs to be strapped tight, horizontally
at the _ ievei or one o'ciocK position.
8) . Place the TXV bulb as located on the drawings. You
do not want to place the bulb in a position where
another circuit can influence the circuit that we are
trying to control.
9). Insulate all suctior lines using 1/4" wall thickness
insulation and use foam insulation tape between
sections and under bar areas.
10) . If the Refrigeration Unit is mounted above the Frost
Rail, a Refrigeration "P-TRAP is required every 8' of
lift on the Suction Line.
/3
