Up to <br /> 6 new piles may be required to construct the boat dock" <br /> Plants and Animals C: Buffer enhancement along the Snohomish River shoreline Development of FEIS 4.5.4.1, RC Shoreline permits <br /> from the area north of Wetland C to the north edge of the Newland Construction Adjacent Landfill/Tire BA/HMP pp 53- <br /> property(except the City park property). Shoreline buffer enhancement proposed Fire site(Third Phase, 54; <br /> for this project will entail removal of non-native vegetation and planting of native Fourth Phase and Fifth pp 54-56 Table 12 <br /> vegetation within a 50-foot wide buffer. Soil augmentation may be necessary and Phase)and Eclipse Mill and Figure 13, <br /> will be determined at the time of plant installation. HMP/BA Table 12 identifies Site 13a, <br /> potential native buffer species that will be utilized for buffer enhancement. Native <br /> vegetation will also be established along areas where the buffer is currently absent. <br /> Removal of concrete rubble, debris, large rip rap, sheet piling, and miscellaneous <br /> waste along the shoreline and within the buffer boundary is also proposed at select <br /> locations(where shoreline integrity can withstand the alteration)will help to restore <br /> the buffer to a more natural state when in-water work is required,or when any buffer <br /> restoration work takes place in the vicinity of existing rubble, rip rap, sheet piling, <br /> and miscellaneous waste. <br /> Plants and Animals D: Buffer enhancement along the western 60-foot margin of Development of FEIS 4.5.4.1, RC Wetland C: <br /> Wetlands C and 65-foot of wetland W to include:a)Removal of invasive vegetative Adjacent Landfill/Tire BA/HMP pp 53- Shoreline permits <br /> species, b) Removal of historical rail-lines buried along the western edge of the Fire site(Third Phase, 54; <br /> wetland, c)Creation of a planting berm with the placement of approximately four Fourth Phase and Fifth pp 56- <br /> feet of amended organic soil on top of the railroad grade following removal of the Phase) 59 Table 12 Wetland W: <br /> existing rail-lines to ensure an adequate growth medium for that plant species with and Figure, 14, Building permits, <br /> a minimum rooting depth of no more than 36 inches.d)Installation of approximately 14a, 14b,and 15 as described in <br /> two feet of amended soil throughout the enhanced Wetland W buffer (due to the Director's File <br /> underlying land fill cap) e) Establishment of a native vegetation community Memo dated <br /> consisting of native coniferous and deciduous tree species and commonly associated December 1,2017 <br /> shrub vegetation within the proposed Wetland C (Western Edge) buffer that will <br /> improve buffer function; f) Establishment of a native vegetation community <br /> consisting of shallow rooting native shrub species in the Wetland W buffer while <br /> maintaining the integrity of the underlying landfill cap; g) placement (short-term <br /> recruitment) of LWD along the upland-wetland interface of Wetland C; h) <br /> I-6 <br />
