Projections that extend into the 5'0"side-yard setback shall be protected on the underside with 1-hour fire-resistance construction. Provide detail of projections in setback. 12. Walls less than 5 feet from the property line shall be 1-hour fire-resistance rated in accordance with ASTM E 119 or UL 263 with exposure from both sides per Table R302.1 as amended by Washington State. 13. Where a door swings over a landing, the landing shall be not more than 11/2"below the finished floor. 14. In dwelling unites where the opening of an operable window is located more than 72 inches above the finished grade or surface below, the lowest part of the clear opening of the window shall be a minimum of 24 inches above the finished floor of the room in which the window is located. Operable sections of windows shall not permit openings that allow the passage of a 4-inch diameter sphere where such openings are located within 24 inches of the finished floor, per R612.2 IRC.
