an addendum change to plans or specifications , the re- <br /> fund shall be proportionate to the change made. Where <br /> plans and specifications have been checked no plan <br /> checking fee may be refunded. Upon receipt of <br /> notice to refund fee, the City Treasurer shall draw <br /> and pay a warrant upon the general fund in the amount <br /> of the refund so stated by the Electrical Inspector <br /> to be due. <br /> Section 10: ELECTRICAL WORK INSPECTION REQUIRED <br /> No owner, contractor, or other persons engaged in the <br /> construction of any building or structure or otherwise, shall do or <br /> permit to be done any work of any kind whatsoever which will cover <br /> or conceal in any way electrical equipment, until the same has been <br /> inspected and approved. The inspector shall have the power, when by <br /> him deemed necessary for careful inspection of any electrical <br /> equipment to remove any construction which prevents careful <br /> inspection on his part. <br /> Upon completion of said work, it shall be the duty of the <br /> persons doing the same to notify the City Electrical Inspector <br /> within twenty-four hours after completion of said work. The <br /> Electrical Inspector shall at once proceed to inspect the same, <br /> and if said work is in all respects in conformity with the pro- <br /> visions of this chapter, he shall issue a certificate of final <br /> inspection, which shall contain the date of final inspection. No <br /> electrical current shall be turned on such electrical equipment, <br /> and no electrical equipment put into service until this certificate <br /> is issued. <br /> Section 11 (a) : TEMPORARY PERMIT ISSUANCE <br /> If, after being notified of the completion of any electrical <br /> work or electrical equipment hereinbefore specified, the inspector <br /> shall be unable to inspect the same within a period of twenty-four <br /> hours immediately following the service of said notice of completion, <br /> the City Electrical Inspector may issue a temporary permit allowing <br /> current to be turned on such electrical equipment, pending the <br /> inspection of the work. <br /> Section 11 (b) : REINSPECTION - WHEN REQUIRED <br /> Whenever an application is made to the City Inspector for <br /> reinspection of any work heretofore done, prior to the passage of <br /> this chapter; or when any application or petition is filed or made <br /> to make extensions , alterations or repairs, amounting to sixty <br /> percent (60%) of the wiring or other electrical work already done <br /> and completed in said building, then and in that event, the <br /> entire work shall be subject to reinspection by said City Inspector <br /> and when any sufficient number of extensions are made upon any <br /> work completed after the passage of this chapter, which in the <br /> aggregate shall equal sixty percent (60%) additional wiring or <br /> electrical work done, then, and in that event, such building <br /> shall be subject to reinspection. <br /> Section 12 : STRUCTURES TO BE INSPECTED PERIODICALLY <br /> Any person owning or in the possession of any building or <br /> other structure, within the City of Everett, shall permit the <br /> inspector to enter and inspect said building and premises once in <br /> every three months, or oftener if deemed necessary by the City <br /> Electrical Inspector, for the purpose of ascertaining whether the <br /> electrical equipment, in or about said building or other structure, <br /> or premises, is in conformity with the provisions of this chapter; <br />
