Section 6: NON-TAMPERABLE FUSE PLUGS REQUIRED <br /> Plug fuses and holders of non-tamperable type shall be instal- <br /> led in all public buildings, commercial buildings, hotels and <br /> apartment houses, except single family dwellings , and all such <br /> buildings , commercial buildings, hotels and apartment houses , ex- <br /> cept single family dwellings, and all such buildings not conforming <br /> to this requirement shall be made to conform within 30 days from <br /> the adoption of this ordinance. <br /> Section 7 : SIGN ON TRUCKS <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, firm, part- <br /> nership or corporation engaged in the electrical business to <br /> operate a truck, fleet of trucks, or vehicle used for the purpose <br /> of conveying electrical supplies, materials and tools used for <br /> performing electrical work to and from electrical job sites, <br /> unless such truck or vehicle so used has plainly displayed <br /> thereon the name of the person, firm, partnership or corporation <br /> operating such truck or vehicle. <br /> Section 8 : PERMIT-REQUIRED <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to <br /> install, alter, replace or extend any electrical equipment with- <br /> out first obtaining and having in full force and effect, a permit <br /> for such installation, alteration, replacement or extension from <br /> the City Electrical Inspector of the City of Everett. <br /> Application for permit for such installation, replacement, <br /> alteration or extension of any electrical equipment, together with <br /> required fee, shall be filed with the City Electrical Inspector, <br /> which application shall state the name of the owner or occupant <br /> of the premises, the location of the same and the nature and extent <br /> of the work to be performed, and evidence that the applicant has <br /> a current unrevoked license issued by the State of Washington. <br /> The City Electrical Inspector shall issue such permit when the <br /> application therefore complies with the provision of this chapter. <br /> The permit shall automatically terminate whenever the appli- <br /> cant fails to have in full force and effect a valid unexpired <br /> license as required by the Laws of the State of Washington. <br /> All work done shall be under the direct supervision and <br /> responsibility of the person to whom the permit has been granted. <br /> This permit may be revoked by the City Electrical Inspector <br /> in event he finds that any material statement made in such appli- <br /> cation is false. Replacement of broken electrical fixtures, when <br /> such fixtures conform to regulations contained in this ordinance, <br /> shall not require a permit. <br /> The City Electrical Inspector may grant a permit to the <br /> owner of a single family dwelling, occupied by him to make <br /> installation of electrical equipment if said work is to be done <br /> only by said applicant, without requiring said applicant to have <br /> in full force and effect a valid license as required by the Laws <br /> of the State of Washington. Such permit shall not give to the <br /> owner the right to have other persons make such installation. <br /> No permit shall be issued to any person, firm or corporation <br /> for any work covered by this ordinance when previous work covered <br /> by this ordinance has not been completed and accepted in accordance <br /> with this ordinance. <br /> All permits issued hereunder shall be for a period of 90 days. <br /> The City Electrical Inspector, upon request, shall extend said <br /> permit for an additional period of time if it shall appear that <br />
