4 i <br /> Section 2 <br /> Person--Defined: "Person" as used in this chapter, <br /> shall include any person, firm or corporation in the <br /> City of Everett. The manager of any firm or corporation <br /> shall be deemed responsible for the obtaining of such <br /> license as well as such person, firm or corporation. <br /> Section 3 <br /> Contemplated Sale--Fact of and Details to be Filed <br /> with Clerk: The applicant shall submit to such <br /> Clerk, in writing, a statement showing all the facts <br /> in regard to the contemplated sale, with a statement <br /> as to the reasons for such closing out, an inventory <br /> of goods showing actual purchase price, names of <br /> persons from whom goods were obtained, date of delivery <br /> of such goods and all details necessary to fully identify <br /> the- goods to be sold. <br /> Section 4 <br /> License Fee : The license fee for such sale shall be <br /> the sum of $25 . 00 , plus $2 . 00 for each thousand or <br /> fraction thereof of the submitted inventory, for a <br /> period of three months . <br /> Section 5 <br /> Time of Sale--Not to Exceed Three Months--Extension--When: <br /> Such application shall specify the period of time during <br /> which the sale may continue . This time shall not exceed <br /> three months , but if at any time during three months a <br /> sworn application be filed with the City Clerk making <br /> it appear that all the goods in the original inventory <br /> have not been sold, accompanied by an inventory of <br /> what remains showing actual purchase price , a supplemental <br /> license may be issued, in the discretion of the Clerk, <br /> upon compliance by the applicant with the requirements <br /> of the original issue and upon the payment of an additional <br /> license fee of $25 . 00 per day, which license shall <br /> continue in effect only as long as said daily license <br /> fee shall be paid and he shall comply with the provisions <br /> of this chapter. <br /> Any application for a license under the provisions of <br /> this chapter covering any goods , wares or merchandise <br /> previously inventoried and licensed, shall be deemed <br /> to be an application for a renewal under Section 5 of this <br /> chapter whether presented by the original applicant or <br /> by any other person. <br /> Section 6 <br /> License Good for Inventoried Goods Only: The license <br /> shall be valid only for the inventoried goods . Additions <br /> to such inventory shall cause the merchandise inventoried <br /> to lose its identity as distressed goods , and any such <br /> license issued shall cease to apply to the sale of <br /> such goods . <br /> Section 7 <br /> Purchase with Sixty Days of Application--Presumption <br /> of Purchase for Sale: No person securing a license <br /> shall secure goods for the purpose of selling at such <br />
