a sale and any unusual purchase or additions to stocks <br /> within sixty days prior to application for a license <br /> shall be presumptive evidence that such addition was <br /> made for the purpose of selling at such sale. <br /> Section 8 <br /> Sale of Un-Inventoried Goods--Prohibited: No person <br /> operating under such a license shall add any goods <br /> to the inventoried stock and no goods shall be sold <br /> except that included in the original inventory. Each <br /> sale of goods not so inventoried shall constitute <br /> a separate offense under this chapter. <br /> Section 9 <br /> Chapter not Applicable to Court Sales : This chapter <br /> shall not apply to public or court officers or to <br /> any person acting under the direction of state or <br /> federal courts in the course of their offical duties . <br /> CHAPTER 11 - PHOTOGRAPHERS <br /> Section 1 <br /> Definitions : The term "Photographer" as used herein, <br /> shall be held to include every person, firm or corporation <br /> engaged in the business of soliciting, taking, finishing <br /> and selling photographs, including all work and processes <br /> required to be done or used in reproducing from an exposed <br /> photographic film or plate, a positive image or likeness <br /> of the person (or object) of whom the exposure was taken, <br /> and of making one or more copies thereof, and of fixing, <br /> toning, retouching, washing and trimming the photograph <br /> and material upon which same is reproduced, or making <br /> reproductions or enlargements of finished photographs . <br /> The term "Photograph Studio" as used herein shall be held <br /> to mean and include the business and the place of business <br /> of taking photographs for compensation. <br /> The term "Goods, Wares or Merchandise" as used herein shall be <br /> held to mean and include photographs reproduced from an exposed <br /> photographic film or plate, and enlargements of photographs . <br /> Section 2 <br /> License Required: It shall be unlawful for any person, <br /> firm or corporation, to in any manner engage in the <br /> business of photography or act as a photographer, or <br /> operate or maintain a photographic studio, or canvass , <br /> solicit for or make photographs or photographic reproductions , <br /> without first obtaining from the City of Everett a license <br /> so to do. <br /> Section 3 <br /> Application--Fee--Surety Bond: Applications for a license <br /> shall be made in writing and be filed with the City Clerk. <br /> Each application shall be accompanied by a bond in the <br /> penal sum of $1,000 . 00 issued by a surety company authorized <br />
