Fire Prevention Bureau, which examination shall cover the general field of first aid fire fighting equipment, shall submit two passport type pictures of himself. After complying with these qualifications a license shall be issued by the Chief of the Fire Prevention Bureau to the applicant. Section 3 Certificates--Expiration Date : All certificates of fitness shall expire on December 31 , of each year, and shall be renewed upon application to the Chief of the Fire Prevention Bureau. Section 4 City Employees--Unlawful to Make Application for Certificate : It shall be unlawful for an employee of the City of Everett to secure or make application for a certificate of fitness as herein provided. CHAPTER 21 - MOBILE FOOD UNITS Section 1 Preparation of Food in Mobile Unit--License Required: No person, firm or corporation shall engage in the preparation of edible merchandise in or on any mobile unit while on the public streets and on public property, unless he shall have first obtained and have in full force and effect a license for each mobile unit used for said purpose, issued by the City Clerk of the City of Everett. Section 2 Sale of Food in Mobile Unit--License Required: No person, firm or corporation shall sell or cause to be sold edible merchandise from a mobile unit to persons on the public streets , sidewalks and public property unless he shall have first obtained and have in full force and effect, a license for each mobile unit used for said purpose, issued by the City Clerk of the City of Everett. Section 3 Mobile Unit Defined: A mobile unit shall be defined as a vehicle which can be moved upon the public streets and sidewalks, including but not limited to trucks, automobiles , trailers . Section 4 Application for License--Bond: The applicant shall file application with the City Clerk upon forms pre- pared by the City Clerk, together with a sum of one hundred dollars as a cash bond, conditioned that the applicant will not allow refuse and waste to accumulate upon the streets and sidewalks at or adjacent to the mobile unit, and conditioned further that in the event it becomes necessary for the City of Everett to sweep or otherwise collect refuse resulting from such operation, that the cost of such work shall be charged against the bond and the license shall be terminated, unless the bond is maintained at one hundred dollars .
