I , , 0 <br /> ► <br /> f • • • ► <br /> i • ► • <br /> 4 • • <br /> Section 11 <br /> License--Grounds for not granting: No license shall be <br /> granted to conduct, operate or manage any hotel, rooming <br /> house, lodging house, apartment house, or tenement house <br /> in the City of Everett, to any person, firm or corporation, <br /> nor to the agent of any person, firm or corporation that <br /> has been convicted in any of the courts of the State of <br /> Washington or in any Federal Court under any of the provi- <br /> sions of the laws of the United States relating to prosti- <br /> tution, gambling, or the manufacture, possession, sale, <br /> barter, exchange, giving away, furnishing, or otherwise <br /> disposing of or keeping intoxicating liquor, nor to the <br /> use of or handling of narcotic drugs. <br /> CHAPTER 26 - GO-KART TRACKS <br /> Section 1 <br /> Definition: A. Go-Kart track is a place used for <br /> the operation of go-karts for public use and enter- <br /> tainment. <br /> B. Go-Kart is a motor propelled, four wheel <br /> vehicle of not more than four horsepower used for <br /> the purpose of driving. <br /> Section 2 <br /> Conditions--Go-Karts: A. No go-kart shall be operated <br /> with a horsepower in excess of four horsepower. <br /> B. All go-karts shall be controlled in such a <br /> manner that they shall not exceed the speed limit of <br /> twenty miles per hour and no go-kart shall be operated <br /> in excess of said speed. <br /> C. All go-karts shall be equipped with mufflers, <br /> to suppress noise, approved by the chief of police of <br /> the city. The chief of police shall approve all <br /> mufflers which effectively control noise so as not to <br /> be offensive to surrounding property owners. <br /> Section 3 <br /> Conditions--Tracks: A. The go-kart track and premises <br /> shall be kept in a neat and clean condition. <br /> B. All lighting of a go-kart track shall be so <br /> constructed and operated as to prohibit lights from <br /> glaring on or across surrounding property. <br /> C. All areas of a go-kart track, except the areas <br /> which shall be paved with concrete or asphalt concrete, <br /> shall be so surfaced as to prohibit dust from arising <br /> from its use. The parking area for standard motor <br /> vehicles shall be properly oiled or hard surfaced. <br /> D. Each go-kart track shall not be operated after <br /> eleven p.m. daylight saving time, or ten p.m. standard <br /> time when daylight saving time is not in effect. <br />
