1 of any permit fee shall be granted for cessation of <br /> 2 operations prior to the expiration of the permit. <br /> 3 In lieu of the annual permit herein established and <br /> 4 heretofore required by the City of Everett, there is <br /> 5 hereby established a quarterly permit to discharge sewage <br /> 6 or like material from cesspools, septic tanks , holding <br /> 7 tanks, chemical toilets, portable toilets and privies <br /> 8 into the City of Everett sewage system, the fee for <br /> 9 which shall be $120 .00 for each vehicle having a capacity <br /> 10 of 2500 gallons or less and $165 .00 for each vehicle <br /> 11 having a capacity in excess of 2500 gallons which is <br /> 12 employed or used by the permit holder for the hauling <br /> 13 and discharge of such material . The fees shall be con- <br /> 14 sidered sewer revenues . Said quarterly permits shall <br /> 15 commence as of the 1st day of each calendar quarter, <br /> 16 January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1, and shall <br /> 17 expire on the last day of each calendar quarter, <br /> 18 March 31, June 30 , September 30 and December 31 . Fees <br /> 19 for permits issued during any quarter shall be pro- <br /> 20 rated at the rate of $40 per month for each vehicle <br /> 21 having a capacity of 2500 gallons or less and $55 per <br /> 22 month for each vehicle having a capacity in excess of <br /> 23 2500 gallons which rate shall apply to each full month <br /> 24 or partial month remaining in the calendar quarter. <br /> 25 No refund of any permit fee shall be granted for cessa- <br /> 26 tion of operations prior to the expiration of the per- <br /> 27 mit. The quarterly permit shall be considered a cepa- <br /> 28 rate permit for each quarter and discharge of such <br /> 29 materials without renewal of the permit shall be con- <br /> 30 sidered a violation of Section 2 of this ordinance. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
