of Police or of any person designated by him, the book or books herein 1 2 required to be kept shall be exhibited for the inspection of the Chief of 3 Police or of any person designated by him to inspect the same, and the 4 failure or refusal to comply with said request shall constitute cause for 5 the revocation of his, their or its license. 6 Section 13: License Revocation '7 (a) Revocation by Director of Finance and Budget 8 The Director. of Finance and Budget shall have the right to revoke, or 9 10 suspend any license issued under the provisions of this ordinance at 11 any time, where the same was procured by fraud, or false represent- 12 ation of fact, or for the violation of, or failure to comply with, any of 13 the provisions of this ordinance by the person holding such license, or 14 any of his servants, agents or employees, while acting within the scope 15 of their employment, or the conviction of the person holding such 16 license, or any of his servants, agents or employees, while acting 17 within the scope of their employment, or the conviction of the person 18 19 holding such license of a felony or misdemeanor involving an attempt 20 to defraud committed while acting within the scope of their employment, 21 or if the licensee, any of his servants, or agents or employees, while 22 acting within the scope of their employment violate any law or ordinance 23 relating to the sale or possession of intoxicating liquor, the use, possess- 24 ion, or sale of narcotic drugs, or violate any law or ordinance relating 25 to public morality and decency. Conviction of a violation of any pro- 26 vision of this ordinance shall be prima facie evidence to warrant 27 28 revocation or suspension of the license. 29 (b) Appeal to City Council 30 Within ten (10) days after the revocation or suspension of any license 31 issued and suspended pursuant to this ordinance, the licensee so 32 revoked or may suspendedfile p an appeal with the City Council.
