of Police or of any person designated by him, the book or books herein <br /> 1 <br /> 2 required to be kept shall be exhibited for the inspection of the Chief of <br /> 3 Police or of any person designated by him to inspect the same, and the <br /> 4 failure or refusal to comply with said request shall constitute cause for <br /> 5 the revocation of his, their or its license. <br /> 6 Section 13: License Revocation <br /> '7 <br /> (a) Revocation by Director of Finance and Budget <br /> 8 <br /> The Director. of Finance and Budget shall have the right to revoke, or <br /> 9 <br /> 10 suspend any license issued under the provisions of this ordinance at <br /> 11 any time, where the same was procured by fraud, or false represent- <br /> 12 ation of fact, or for the violation of, or failure to comply with, any of <br /> 13 the provisions of this ordinance by the person holding such license, or <br /> 14 any of his servants, agents or employees, while acting within the scope <br /> 15 <br /> of their employment, or the conviction of the person holding such <br /> 16 <br /> license, or any of his servants, agents or employees, while acting <br /> 17 <br /> within the scope of their employment, or the conviction of the person <br /> 18 <br /> 19 holding such license of a felony or misdemeanor involving an attempt <br /> 20 to defraud committed while acting within the scope of their employment, <br /> 21 or if the licensee, any of his servants, or agents or employees, while <br /> 22 acting within the scope of their employment violate any law or ordinance <br /> 23 relating to the sale or possession of intoxicating liquor, the use, possess- <br /> 24 <br /> ion, or sale of narcotic drugs, or violate any law or ordinance relating <br /> 25 <br /> to public morality and decency. Conviction of a violation of any pro- <br /> 26 <br /> vision of this ordinance shall be prima facie evidence to warrant <br /> 27 <br /> 28 revocation or suspension of the license. <br /> 29 (b) Appeal to City Council <br /> 30 Within ten (10) days after the revocation or suspension of any license <br /> 31 issued and suspended pursuant to this ordinance, the licensee so <br /> 32 revoked or may suspendedfile <br /> p an appeal with the City Council.
