The class title <br /> b 2 . A statement of duties , qualifications , responsi- <br /> 6 bilities and salary range. <br /> rr 3 . The place for filing and the final filing date <br /> 8 4 . Such other information as will help the applicants <br /> 9 understand the nature of employment and the procedures <br /> 10 for participating in the examination. <br /> 11 Section 8 : Classification Plan. The Classification Plan <br /> 12 shall serve as a complete inventory of all positions in the <br /> 13 City service including an accurate description and specifica- <br /> 14 <br /> tions for each class of employment. <br /> 15 <br /> Section 9 : Conditions of Employment. No employee shall <br /> 16 participate in any outside business activity or employment <br /> 17 <br /> which conflicts with or detracts from the employee 's job <br /> 18 performance. <br /> 19 All new employees shall be subject to a nine (9) month pro- <br /> 20 bationary period. All promotional employees shall be subject <br /> 21 to a six (6) month probationary period. A new probationary <br /> 22 employee may be terminated with no right of appeal . A pro- <br /> 23 motional probationary employee may be reduced in rank to his <br /> 24 <br /> last held permanent position with no right of appeal . No <br /> 25 <br /> officer or employee of the City shall solicit or receive any <br /> 26 <br /> pay, commission, money or thing of value, or derive any benefit, <br /> 27 <br /> profit or advantage , directly or indirectly, from or by reason <br /> 28 <br /> of any improvement, alteration or repair required by authority <br /> 29 <br /> of the City, or any contract to which the City shall be a <br /> 30 <br /> party, except his lawful compensation or salary as such <br /> 31 <br /> officer or employee.
