Page 7- <br /> 1 accept or receive, directly or indirectly, from any public <br /> 2 service corporation, or the owner of any public utility <br /> 3 franchise in this City, any pass , frank, free ticket, or any <br /> 4 other service upon terms more favorable than those granted to <br /> 5 the public generally. <br /> 6 Section 10 : Reclassification. Reclassification may take <br /> 7 place if a classified employee believes in good faith that <br /> 8 his position is improperly classified. Such employee or his <br /> 9 union on his behalf , may file a written request with the <br /> 10 Personnel Officer for an investigation and determination of <br /> 11 the proper classification of the position. Reclassification <br /> 12 may also take place if a department head believes it to be <br /> 13 necessary or desirable and files a written request with the <br /> 14 Personnel Officer . The request must state particular and <br /> 15 pertinent facts involved and the reasons for making the re- <br /> 16 quest and must be signed by the particular employee or depart- <br /> 17 ment head. The Personnel Officer must undertake the investi- <br /> 18 gation and recommend appropriate action to the Civil Service <br /> 19 <br /> Commission. <br /> 20 <br /> Section 11 : Employee Suspension, Termination or Reduction <br /> 21 <br /> in Rank. A classified employee may be suspended, terminated <br /> 22 <br /> or reduced in rank only for cause as determined by the Civil <br /> 23 <br /> Service Commission. <br /> 24 <br /> Section 12 : Employee Evaluation. The Personnel Officer <br /> 25 <br /> shall , with the approval of the Civil Service Commission, <br /> 26 <br /> establish a system for periodic performance evaluation of the <br /> 27 <br /> classified employees of the City. <br /> 28 <br /> Section 13 : Leave of Absence . The Personnel Officer may <br /> 29 <br /> grant a leave of absence without pay for reasons of disability , <br /> 30 <br /> education, military duty, pregnancy or other appropriate <br /> 31 <br /> reasons . The Personnel Officer, when it is requested by an <br /> 32 <br /> employee, may grant a leave of absence with pay for reasons <br />
