The Contractor shall give five (5) calendar days advance notice to the Engineer and Traffic Operations <br /> Supervisor to request release of the supplied materials. The Contractor may request release of the agency <br /> supplied materials only after any required electrical service has been installed,inspected, and approved. <br /> After successful turn-on of each permanent traffic signal display and detection system, the Contractor shall <br /> place the Contracting Agency supplied items on a pallet and contact the Snohomish County Public Works <br /> Maintenance Facility within five (5) calendar days to arrange for delivery. <br /> 8-20.2 (1) Equipment List And Drawings <br /> Section 8-20.2(1)is supplemented with the following: <br /> Manufacturer's data for materials proposed for use in the contract which require approval, shall be submitted in one <br /> complete package. <br /> If traffic signal standards, strain pole standards, or combination traffic signal and lighting standards are regnired, <br /> final verified dimensions including pole base to signal mast arm connection point, pole base to light source <br /> distances (H1), mast arm length, offset distances to mast arm mounted appurtenances, and orientations of pole <br /> mounted appurtenances will be furnished by the Engineer as part of the final approved shop drawings prior to <br /> fabrication. <br /> 8-20.3 Construction Requirements <br /> General <br /> Section 8-203(1)is supplemented with the following: <br /> 8-20.3(1)A Energized Equipment <br /> Work shall be coordinated so that electrical equipment, with the exception of the service cabinet, is energized <br /> within 72 hours of installation. <br /> 8-20.3(3) Removing and Replacing Improvements <br /> Section 8-203(3)is supplemented with the following: <br /> 8-20.3(3)A Pole Removal <br /> Poles designated for removal shall not be removed prior to approval of the Engineer. <br /> 8-20.3(3)B Signal Display Installation <br /> Signal displays shall be installed no more than 30 days prior to scheduled signal turn on or changeover. <br /> 8-20.3(3)C Construction Core Installation <br /> The Contractor shall coordinate installation of construction cores (locks) with agency maintenance staff through <br /> the Engineer. The Contractor shall provide written notice to the Engineer, a minimum of seven working days in <br /> advance of proposed installation.
