Conduit Expansion and/or Deflection Fitting <br /> Expansion fittings, deflection fittings, and expansion/deflection fittings embedded in concrete shall be PVC <br /> coated. <br /> 9-29.1(5) Innerduct and Outerduct <br /> Section 9-29.1(5)is deleted in its entirely and replaced with the following: <br /> Innerduct shall be a fabric,multi-celled, textile product. Innerduct shall be installed in 10 continuous lengths <br /> without intermediate splices throughout the project, except at the location(s) specified in the Plans, or as approved <br /> in writing by the Engineer. <br /> The Contractor shall comply with the innerduct manufacturer's specifications and recommended procedures to <br /> install and terminate the innerduct system. <br /> Except as noted in the following pre-approved list of this section, samples of innerduct shall be submitted to the <br /> Engineer for approval. <br /> Pre-approved list: <br /> MaxCell MXC series Innerduct <br /> 9-29.2 Junction Boxes, Cable Vaults, and Pull Boxes <br /> 9-29.2(1) (A) Standard Duty and (B)Heavy-Duty Junction Boxes <br /> Section 9-29.2(1)is supplemented with the following: <br /> All junction box lids and frames shall be galvanized. Grounding lugs shall be stainless steel and shall be <br /> mechanically and electrically bonded. <br /> 9-29.3 Fiber Optic Cable,Electrical Conductors, and Cable <br /> 9-29.3 (1) Fiber Optic and Copper Cable <br /> Section 9-29.3(1) is supplemented with the following: <br /> Communication Cables and Interfaces <br /> Quality Assurance <br /> All materials described in this section shall meet or exceed the applicable provisions of the following documents: <br /> 1.
