Section 1-05.4 is supplemented with the following: <br /> (April 3, 2017 WSDOT GSP) <br /> Contractor Surveying —ADA Features <br /> ADA Feature Staking Requirements <br /> The Contractor shall be responsible for setting, maintaining, and resetting all alignment <br /> stakes, and grades necessary for the construction of the ADA features. <br /> Calculations, surveying, and measuring required for setting and maintaining the <br /> necessary lines and grades shall be the Contractor's responsibility. The Contractor shall <br /> build the ADA features within the specifications in the Standard Plans and contract <br /> documents. <br /> ADA Feature As-Built Measurements <br /> The Contractor shall be responsible for providing As-Built records of all ADA feature <br /> improvements completed in the Contract. <br /> The survey work shall include but not be limited to completing the measurements, <br /> recording the required measurements and completing other data fill-ins found on the <br /> ADA As-Built Forms, and transmitting the Forms to the Engineer. The ADA As-Built <br /> Forms are found at the following website location: <br /> http://wvimwsdot.wa.gov/Design/ADAGuidance.htm <br /> The transmittal letter shall include a statement signed by the Contractor certifying the <br /> accuracy of the measurements. <br /> In the instance where an ADA Feature does not meet accessibility requirements, all work <br /> to replace non-conforming work and then to measure, record the as-built measurements, <br /> and transmit the Forms to the Engineer shall be completed at no additional cost to the <br /> Contracting Agency, as ordered by the Engineer. <br /> Payment <br /> Payment will be made for the following bid item that is included in the Proposal: <br /> "ADA Features Surveying", lump sum. <br /> The unit Contract price per lump sum for"ADA Features Surveying" shall be full pay for all the <br /> Work as specified. <br /> Swift Green Line—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP21 <br /> May 2017 <br />
