DIVISION 2 <br /> EARTHWORK <br /> 2-01 CLEARING, GRUBBING, AND ROADSIDE CLEANUP <br /> 2-01.1 Description <br /> This Section is supplemented with the following: <br /> Clearing and grubbing includes tree removals where indicated on the Plans. Clearing and <br /> grubbing on this project shall be performed only within the minimum area required to perform <br /> the construction of the following items: <br /> 1. Storm drainage structures and buried pipe <br /> 2. Grading <br /> 3. Curb, sidewalk, and pavement <br /> 4. Walls <br /> 5. Landscaping <br /> No clearing and grubbing shall be allowed beyond the clearing limits shown on the plans. <br /> 2-01.5 Payment <br /> Revise this section with the following: <br /> "Clearing and Grubbing", per lump sum. <br /> The unit Contract price per lump sum for"Clearing and Grubbing" shall be full pay for all Work <br /> described in Section 2-01 including removal, haul, and disposal. <br /> 2-02 REMOVAL OF STRUCTURES AND OBSTRUCTIONS <br /> 2-02.1 Description <br /> This Section is supplemented with the following: <br /> Removal of Structure and Obstruction shall include, but not be limited to: <br /> • Asphalt/Cement Concrete Pavement, <br /> and Sidewalk Removal Approx. 14,500 SY <br /> • Curb and Gutter Removal Approx. 9,000 LF <br /> • Storm/Sewer Pipe Removal Approx. 1,800 LF <br /> • Catch Basin/Manhole Removal Approx. 21 EACH <br /> • Water Main Removal Approx. 150 LF <br /> • Fence and Railing Removal Approx. 600 LF <br /> • Retaining Wall Removal Approx. 800 SF <br /> • Misc.
