Since these systems (s) are being constructed on public right-of-way and will be operated and <br /> maintained by Snohomish County (on behalf of the Cities of Bothell and Everett in cases noted <br /> above), a Snohomish County Traffic Signal Electrician will be required to inspect and approve <br /> electrical portions of the project. <br /> Final inspection and approval is required before the Contract can be completed. The Contractor <br /> shall contact the Snohomish County Signal Maintenance Supervisor at (425)388-7551 a <br /> minimum of two (2) calendar days in advance of the agreed upon points where electrical <br /> inspection is required, and give written notice to the Engineer. <br /> 8-20.2 Materials <br /> Section 8-20.2(1) is revised as follows: <br /> Delete "If required to do so," in the first sentence of the second paragraph. <br /> After the fourth paragraph, add the following: <br /> Shop drawing for signal standards and lighting standards shall be provided in an electronic <br /> format, either AUTOCAD Release 14 or later, as well as complying with Section 6-03.3(7). <br /> Section 8-20.2(1) is supplemented as follows: <br /> Contracting Agency-Supplied Materials <br /> The Contracting Agency will procure through WSDOT the following materials for the bid item, <br /> "SR 96 (132nd Street SE) at 16th Avenue SE Traffic Signal Modifications, Complete": <br /> Description <br /> One new Type 332 cabinet with auxiliary file, and including related equipment (display <br /> panel, flashers, load switches, flash transfer relays, isolators, phase selector, loop <br /> amplifiers, conflict monitor, etc.) fully bench-tested by WSDOT and furnished by the <br /> Owner. Controller, software and programming necessary to make the traffic signal <br /> operational will also be provided by WSDOT forces. <br /> The Contracting Agency-supplied materials will be installed by the Contractor on the <br /> existing controller cabinet foundation. The Contractor shall notify the Engineer three <br /> working days in advance of the date Contracting Agency-supplied materials are required. <br /> The Contractor will terminate existing and new wiring in the controller cabinet. <br /> Upon request, the Contracting Agency will provide access to the material storage <br /> location at WSDOT facilities. The Contractor will transport materials from their storage <br /> location to the specific installation location. The Contractor will be responsible for <br /> including all costs associated with transporting and installing the Contracting Agency- <br /> furnished items. The Contractor shall be responsible for protection of these items until <br /> they are fully installed. <br /> The Contracting Agency will procure through WSDOT materials for the bid item, "SR 527 at <br /> 164th Street SE Temporary System AND Traffic Signal Modifications, Complete," which shall <br /> include the following two systems: "SR 527 at 164th Street SE Temporary Traffic Signal <br /> System, Complete," AND "SR 527 at 164th Street SE Traffic Signal Modifications, Complete." <br /> The items to be procured include the following: <br /> Swift Green Line—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP114 <br /> May 2017 <br />
