Description <br /> Video Detection Equipment for the Temporary Traffic Signal System <br /> The Video Detection System shall consist of TRAFICON video detection equipment, <br /> auxiliary equipment, cameras, and housings. Mountings, and all required mounting <br /> hardware, cables, connectors, and wiring shall be provided by the Contractor as needed <br /> and indicated on the Plans. <br /> Model - Quantity Provided <br /> Video Detection Board: TRAFICON VIP 3D.2—One Unit <br /> Keypad for programming Video Detection Board - One Unit <br /> Monitor for programming Video Detection Board - One Unit <br /> Camera and Lens complete in Housing —Two Each <br /> Camera and Housing Assembly (Agency-provided): Focus free thermal traffic detection <br /> camera or high resolution 1/3" image format Color CCD camera with a motorized zoom <br /> auto-iris lens, installed and wired in an aluminum weatherproof housing. The power, <br /> video, and lens control wiring shall be provided and be pre-wired to the power supply, <br /> camera, and lens. The wires shall be unterminated. <br /> Camera Mounting: Pelco Astro-Brac Extended Tilt& Pan mount, part AB-0169 with cable <br /> mount and 72 inch tube. The cable mount shall be suitable for the mast arm diameter at <br /> each camera installation location. <br /> The Contractor shall notify the Engineer three working days in advance of the date <br /> Contracting Agency-supplied materials are required. <br /> Contracting Agency-supplied Video Detection materials, will be available for pick up, <br /> dimensional verification or bolt pattern verification during normal working hours from the <br /> Region Signal Maintenance Office located at: <br /> 3700- 9th Ave. S. <br /> Seattle, WA 98134 <br /> Attention: Signal Stores Supervisor <br /> Telephone: (206) 442-2122 <br /> 8-20.2 (1) Equipment List And Drawings <br /> Section 8-20.2(1) is supplemented with the following: <br /> Manufacturer's data for materials proposed for use in the contract which require approval, shall <br /> be submitted in one complete package. <br /> If traffic signal standards, strain pole standards, or combination traffic signal and lighting <br /> standards are required, final verified dimensions including pole base to signal mast arm <br /> connection point, pole base to light source distances (H1), mast arm length, offset distances to <br /> mast arm mounted appurtenances, and orientations of pole mounted appurtenances will be <br /> furnished by the Engineer as part of the final approved shop drawings prior to fabrication. <br /> Swift Green Line—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP115 <br /> May 2017 <br />
