The approval of the correction procedures is dependent on analysis of the effect of the <br /> degree of misalignment and improper positioning. Correction methods may be approved <br /> as design analysis indicate. Redesign drawings and computations prepared by the <br /> Contractor's Engineer shall be signed by a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of <br /> Washington. Materials and work necessary, including engineering analysis and redesign, <br /> to effect corrections for out of tolerance drilled shaft excavations shall be furnished at no <br /> cost to the Owner. <br /> Submittals <br /> 1. Before placing the reinforcing steel, the Contractor shall submit shop drawings to the <br /> Engineer as specified in Section 1-05.3 for the reinforcing cage. <br /> 2. Work shall not proceed until the appropriate submittals have been approved 50 in <br /> writing by the Engineer. <br /> End 8-20.3(4) Foundations (Snohomish County requirements) <br /> 8-20.3(5) Conduit <br /> 8-20.3(5)A2 ITS and Cabinet Outer and Inner Duct Conduit <br /> Section 8-20.3(5)A2 is supplemented with the following: <br /> Conduit Seal <br /> Existing conduits, entering cabinets, that are scheduled to have cables added or removed shall <br /> be sealed with an approved mechanical plug or waterproof foam at both ends of the conduit run. <br /> Existing Outer duct and inner duct conduit, entering cabinets, that are scheduled to have cables <br /> added or removed shall be sealed according to this section. <br /> 8-20.3(5)E3 Boring <br /> Section 8-20.3(5)E3 is supplemented with the following: <br /> In addition to the requirements for boring with casing, should casing be required, the Contractor <br /> shall submit to the Engineer for approval a pit plan and a proposed method of boring that <br /> includes, but is not limited to, the following: <br /> a. A pit plan depicting: <br /> 1. Protection of traffic and pedestrians. <br /> 2. The dimension of the pit. <br /> 3. Shoring, bracing, struts, walers, or sheet pile <br /> 4. Type of casing <br /> b. The proposed method of boring, including: <br /> 1. The boring system <br /> 2. The support system <br /> 3.
