Potholing is required prior to excavation if any utilities are within 10 feet. Contractor shall verify existing bolt pattern and make modifications as necessary prior to concrete installation. Verify existing lighting circuits, and break existing splices at the junction box. Remove and relocate existing luminaire to new foundation. Install new junction box, remove and replace affected lighting circuit wiring and conduit in kind. Reroute conduits and wiring, and resplice conductors at the new junction box. Remove the existing foundation, junction box, conduit bends, elbows, and obsolete conduit completely. Relocate Pedestrian Scale Lighting & Private Parking Lot Lighting Contractor shall determine existing anchor bolt type, size, and pattern; existing foundation size and depth; luminaire type, fixture type, wattage, operating voltage, and mounting height. Provide this information along with the proposed foundation design and materials for approval prior to commencing luminaire relocation work. For available Geotechnical information, see Appendix E.
