Add the following new section: <br /> 8-26 PEDESTRIAN HANDRAIL NEW <br /> 8-26.1 Description <br /> This work shall consist of the furnishing and installation of pedestrian handrail at the locations <br /> shown in the Plans. <br /> 8-26.2 Materials <br /> Pedestrian handrail shall be per Snohomish County or Mill Creek standard details as applicable. <br /> 8-26.4 Measurement <br /> Pedestrian handrail will be measured per linear foot. <br /> 8-26.5 Payment <br /> Payment will be made in accordance with Section 1-04.1 for the following bid items: <br /> "Pedestrian Handrail", per linear foot. <br /> The unit contract price for "Pedestrian Handrail" shall be full compensation for all labor, <br /> materials, tools and equipment necessary to furnish and install the handrail as specified. <br /> Add the following new section: <br /> 8-30 STATION FOUNDATIONS, PLATFORM AND PLATFORM CURB NEW <br /> 8-30.1 Description <br /> This Work includes cast-in-place concrete for foundations, vertical curb, and platform for <br /> Stations, including reinforcement, concrete materials, mix design, placement procedures, and <br /> finishes shown in the plans. <br /> This Work also includes: <br /> • Installation of joint fillers and sealing compounds for expansion joints, isolation joints, <br /> control joints, and contraction joints in concrete as indicated. <br /> • Installation of cast-in-place composite detectable warning paver strip on Station platform. <br /> • Installation of Station platform boarding area graphics. <br /> 8-30.2 Materials <br /> Concrete for Foundations, Retaining Walls, Vertical Curb, and Platform for Stations <br /> A.
