TICKET VENDING MACHINE (TVM) 1. Conduit installation to Ticket Vending Machines is critical to proper placement of the TVM's. See Load Center and TVM Layout Detail included in the project plans. STAND ALONE FARE TRANSACTION PROCESSOR (SAFTP) 1. Install a duplex receptacle inside the SAFTP mounting bracket for SAFTP electrical connection. Remove bottom plate from owner furnished SAFTP mounting bracket and mount contractor furnished receptacle on plate. Receptacle shall be a Hubbell Commercial Duplex Receptacle Catalog Number BR20I in a Steel City Handy Box with cover Catalog Number 58361 %. 2. The mounting and service connection holes in the end columns for the SAFTP will be drilled and tapped on-site using the owner provided drilling jig. The location of the SAFTP mounting bracket installation on the end columns shall be in accordance with the requirements shown on the Wall Mounted SAFTP Installation drawing provided in the Appendix F-3. 3. Seal around top of SAFTP mounting bracket at column. Station Signage Installation A. Install signage in accordance with these specifications and manufacturer's instructions. B. Verify signage locations for consistency with existing Swift BRT shelters previously erected. C. Verify station location for station name signage. D. Clean structure surface at sign locations prior to installation. E. Clean signage following installation STATION NAME SIGNAGE 1. Installation Location - Station Name Signage shall be installed on the road-side face of the Station Identifier Box. 2. Attach Station Name Signage to the face of the Station Identifier Box prior to installation of the box. Holes will be drilled and tapped on-site for threaded stud connection to nuts welded on the back of the Station Identification Sign. RIDER ALERT BRACKETS 1. Installation Locations— a) 8.5-inch x 11-inch — Install on the arrival side of the information panel at a height of 2-inches from the bottom of the rider alert bracket to the top of the load center enclosure. b) 8.5-inch x 14-inch — Install on the departure side of the center column facing the ticket vending machines and load center enclosure at a height of 3' 8%"- inches from the bottom of the rider alert bracket to the top of the finished concrete platform surface. 2.
