E. Check to ensure that utilities and specified connections are complete and that equipment <br /> is in operable condition, unless otherwise noted for specific items in the specifications. <br /> TICKET VENDING MACHINE (TVM) <br /> 1. Conduit installation to Ticket Vending Machines is critical to proper placement of the <br /> TVM's. See Load Center and TVM Layout Detail included in the project plans. <br /> STAND ALONE FARE TRANSACTION PROCESSOR (SAFTP) <br /> 1. Install a duplex receptacle inside the SAFTP mounting bracket for SAFTP electrical <br /> connection. Remove bottom plate from owner furnished SAFTP mounting bracket and <br /> mount contractor furnished receptacle on plate. Receptacle shall be a Hubbell <br /> Commercial Duplex Receptacle Catalog Number BR20I in a Steel City Handy Box with <br /> cover Catalog Number 58361 %. <br /> 2. The mounting and service connection holes in the end columns for the SAFTP will be <br /> drilled and tapped on-site using the owner provided drilling jig. The location of the <br /> SAFTP mounting bracket installation on the end columns shall be in accordance with the <br /> requirements shown on the Wall Mounted SAFTP Installation drawing provided in the <br /> Appendix F-3. <br /> 3. Seal around top of SAFTP mounting bracket at column. <br /> Station Signage Installation <br /> A. Install signage in accordance with these specifications and manufacturer's instructions. <br /> B. Verify signage locations for consistency with existing Swift BRT shelters previously <br /> erected. <br /> C. Verify station location for station name signage. <br /> D. Clean structure surface at sign locations prior to installation. <br /> E. Clean signage following installation <br /> STATION NAME SIGNAGE <br /> 1. Installation Location - Station Name Signage shall be installed on the road-side face of <br /> the Station Identifier Box. <br /> 2. Attach Station Name Signage to the face of the Station Identifier Box prior to installation <br /> of the box. Holes will be drilled and tapped on-site for threaded stud connection to nuts <br /> welded on the back of the Station Identification Sign. <br /> RIDER ALERT BRACKETS <br /> 1. Installation Locations— <br /> a) 8.5-inch x 11-inch — Install on the arrival side of the information panel at a height <br /> of 2-inches from the bottom of the rider alert bracket to the top of the load <br /> center enclosure. <br /> b) 8.5-inch x 14-inch — Install on the departure side of the center column facing the <br /> ticket vending machines and load center enclosure at a height of 3' 8%"- <br /> inches from the bottom of the rider alert bracket to the top of the finished <br /> concrete platform surface. <br /> 2. Install in Rider Alert Brackets in accordance with the Manufacturer's installation <br /> procedures provided in Appendix F-6. <br /> Swift Green Line—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP153 <br /> May 2017 <br />
