Coordinate and verify exact locations of wiring devices, light fixtures, communication <br /> devices and equipment prior to beginning of rough-in. <br /> D. If directed by the Owner's representative, the Contractor shall, without extra charge, verify <br /> with local inspectors or authorities having jurisdiction and make reasonable modifications <br /> in the layout as needed to prevent conflict with work of other trades or for proper execution <br /> of the work. <br /> E. If directed by the Owner's Representative, the Contractor shall, without extra charge, <br /> provide layouts of equipment and details of mounting method for review, prior to <br /> installation to ensure proper execution of the work. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS <br /> A. Support all conduits and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code and <br /> the International Building Code. <br /> B. Cutting And Patching: Perform cutting and patching as may be necessary for the proper <br /> installation of the electrical work. Grout around raceway penetrations and fill anchor bolt <br /> holes or spalled areas. Core drill new penetrations through existing structural walls, <br /> ceilings and floor slabs. <br /> C. Cleanup: The premises must be kept free of accumulated materials, rubbish, and debris <br /> at all times. Surplus material, tools, and equipment must not be stored at the building. At <br /> the completion of the job, equipment and fixtures shall be left clean and in proper condition <br /> for their intended use. <br /> D. Trenching: Perform excavation and backfill as may be necessary for the proper <br /> installation of the Electrical work, unless noted otherwise on the Drawings. <br /> E. Tests: Test wiring and electrical equipment to verify absence of grounds and short circuits <br /> and verify proper operation, rotation, and phase relationship. Demonstrate operation of all <br /> equipment in accordance with the requirements of this specification and the <br /> manufacturer's recommendations. Perform tests in the presence of the Owner's <br /> representative. Provide instruments and personnel required to conduct these tests. <br /> LOW-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL POWER CONDUCTORS AND CABLES (600 V AND LESS) <br /> EXAMINATION <br /> A. Verify that interior of building has been protected from weather. <br /> B. Verify that mechanical work likely to damage wire and cable has been completed. <br /> C. Verify that raceway installation is complete and supported. <br /> D. Verify that field measurements are as indicated. <br /> PREPARATION <br /> A. Completely and thoroughly swab raceway before installing wire. <br /> WIRING METHODS <br /> A.
