Provide lay-in fixtures with safety chains from structure (1 chain for 2' x 2', two chains for <br /> larger fixtures). <br /> G. Provide extra seismic support for all lay-in fixtures, two places, with jack chain from <br /> structural ceiling. Coordinate ceiling fixture installation with other trades. <br /> H. Mount square and rectangular fixture sides parallel to building lines and parallel with <br /> ceiling lines. Install fluorescent fixtures as recommended by the manufacturer or as <br /> necessary to provide exact horizontal alignment, preventing horizontal or vertical <br /> deflection, or angular jointing of fixtures installed in continuous rows. <br /> I. Install recessed luminaires to permit removal from below. <br /> J. Install recessed luminaires using accessories and firestopping materials to meet <br /> regulatory requirements for fire rating. <br /> K. Install clips to secure recessed grid-supported luminaires in place. <br /> L. Install wall mounted luminaires at height as indicated on Drawings. <br /> M. Install accessories furnished with each luminaire. <br /> N. Connect luminaires to branch circuit outlets provided under Section 260537 using flexible <br /> conduit. <br /> O. Make wiring connections to branch circuit using building wire with insulation suitable for <br /> temperature conditions within luminaire. <br /> P. Bond products and metal accessories to branch circuit equipment grounding conductor. <br /> Q. Install specified lamps in each luminaire. <br /> FIELD QUALITY CONTROL <br /> A. Perform field inspection in accordance with Section 014000. <br /> B. Operate each luminaire after installation and connection. Inspect for proper connection <br /> and operation. <br /> ADJUSTING <br /> A. Aim and adjust luminaires as directed. <br /> CLEANING <br /> A. Clean electrical parts to remove conductive and deleterious materials. <br /> B. Remove dirt and debris from enclosures. <br /> C. Clean photometric control surfaces as recommended by manufacturer. <br /> D.
