Williams said the structure was a duplex when he purchased it-old Assessor Record shows purchase in 1996.We did observe two power meters- 1 labeled 2812,the other 2812 1/2. Electrical Panels are on the same exterior wall. I observed 4-5 tenants in the struture as we did the inspection.Steve Williams expressed he did not know how many people are living in the building-saying he believes 8,as there are 8 rooms. Main floor contains: 3 bedrooms,a kitchen,a bathroom, and living room.. 2nd Floor contains 5 bedrooms and a kitchen.We did not inspect the two eastern bedrooms as not tenant was present. No living room on this level. Basement Level: contains laundry area and water heater. Low ceiling height in basement. Banks approved 3 new heaters were installed properly under permit. He did note a number of electrical concerns including exposed wire cables and connections that were not compliant-see Inspection Report Budden confirmed interior stairways had compliant hand rails but the steps at the main entry lacked required hand rails. Mr.Williams indicated he will abate all violations.
