Q:Are both pre bid meetings mandatory? <br /> a. No,only one is mandatory for attendance pursuant to Section 00 25 13. Ensure you sign <br /> I <br /> the attendance sheet. <br /> 2. Q:Are the qualifications for this project going to be enforced by the City. <br /> a. Yes,that is the intent. <br /> I3. Q: Can you request an exception to the qualifications for the project? <br /> a. The procedure is outlined in the general conditions and completed in writing to the City. <br /> I4. Q:Is there an existing wash water system installed on the field. <br /> Ia. No wash water system is being proposed for installation on the project. <br /> 5. Q: Who is the supplier/manufacturer of the existing turf system on site? <br /> Ia. Existing turf is Fieldturf. <br /> I <br /> 6. Q:Can the netting overhead be moved or pulled by for light pole installation. <br /> I a. Contractors means and methods for installation of the lighting. If contractor feels it's <br /> necessary they can, but all netting and its system must be returned to the condition it is <br /> currently in. <br /> I 7. Q: Can the existing wood poles but cut down at grade or removed completely if alternate for all <br /> new poles and lights is accepted. <br /> I a. Poles shall be cut 1' below grade and the balance can remain in place. Upper sections of <br /> poles cut off shall be disposed of offsite. <br /> I 8. Q: Do we return the existing asphalt or concrete paving to its original conditions after installation <br /> of lighting components? <br /> I a. Yes, if the alternate for new bases/poles is accepted and existing asphalt or concrete <br /> hardscape is removed for installation,yes it must be replaced.
