City of Everett 00 7300 - 3 2019 Biosolids Removal UT3705-2 F. WORKING HOURS 1. General Contractor will be required to provide a project schedule that clearly defines each phase of work and the work hours associated with each phase. 2. Work site is available from 0600-1730 seven days a week excluding City observed holidays unless otherwise approved by the City's Project Manager. Any additional or alternate work hours will require advance approval and coordination with the City's Project Manager. 3. The Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) will be occupied 24/7 and access to the work area must be available to plant staff during the project. The Contractor will have access to the WPCF treatment lagoons necessary to perform the Work. Contractor will not be permitted access to buildings or other treatment facilities within the WPCF boundary unless required as a part of the Work. G. NOISE ORDINANCES 1. The City has established regulations for control of noise in residential zoned property. For the purpose of regulating potential disruptive or annoying noise, Ordinance No. 1556-89 states that all residential zoned land fall within Noise Control District No. 1. 2. Residential properties lie within close proximity to the Project site, and noise generated at the WPCF impacted residential zoned properties in the past. Therefore. it should be noted that under the City's Noise Ordinance, construction related noise is limited to the following hours: 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekdays ' 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends and state recognized holidays 3. No noise variance will be issued to operate outside of these hours. Contractor shall ensure all Project activities occur during the above hours. 4. Be aware that all construction sites will be monitored and violators are subject to ifines. 5. Construction contractors are responsible for notifying subcontractors of the City's noise regulations. 6. All requests for workinghours other than those stated above shall be made q exclusively through the City's Representative. H. CITY OCCUPATION AND OPERATION I1. The City intends to operate all treatment lagoons during the project. Contractor is expected to coordinate with City to avoid disruption to ongoing wastewater treatment processes. ' 2. Contractor will be responsible for locking the gated entrances to the biosolids pad and aeration cells outside of working hours. City will not accept liability for damages, vandalism, theft, or other loss due to failure of Contractor to maintain site security. 3. The Contractor shall coordinate with City in scheduling operations to minimize conflict with concurrent construction projects, plant operations and maintenance activities. 00 7300 - 3 SPECIAL CONDITIONS I
