<br /> 37. All wiring of more than 24 volts in the following classes of buildings
<br /> shall be installed in conduit, electrical metallic tubing or other approved
<br /> raceways in the following areas and occupancies as defined by the National
<br /> Electrical Code: All buildings in Fire Zones #1 and #2. International Conference
<br /> of Building Officials Uniform Building Code as adopted by the City of Everett
<br /> Part of Table 5A, Group occupancies as follows: Group A, assembly building
<br /> 1000 or more; Group B, assembly buildings, stadiums, reviewing stands, amuse-
<br /> ment parks (with or without stage); Group C, schools; Group D, hospitals, sani-
<br /> tariums, nurseries, homes for aged (over 5 persons); Group E, storage of
<br /> hazardous and flammable materials, factories handling combustibles, repair
<br /> garages, aircraft hangers; Group F, gasoline stations, stores, factories,
<br /> restaurants, office buildings and power plants, pumping plants, cold storage
<br /> and creameries, factories and workshops using incombustible and non-explosive
<br /> materials, storage and sales rooms of incombustible and non-explosive materials;
<br /> Group H, hotels, dormitories, lodging houses, convents, monsteries (over
<br /> 10 persons).
<br /> 38. Final inspection of new jobs shall be made after fixtures, switches,
<br /> receptacles, etc. , are installed.
<br /> Section 7: NON-TAMPERABLE FUSE PLUGS REQUIRED
<br /> Plug fuses and holders of non-tamperable type shall be installed in all
<br /> public buildings, commercial buildings, hotels and apartment houses, except
<br /> single family dwellings, and all such buildings, commercial buildings, hotels
<br /> and apartment houses, except single family dwellings, and all such buildings
<br /> not conforming to this requirement shall be made to conform within 30 days
<br /> from the adoption of this ordinance.
<br /> Section 8: SIGN ON TRUCKS
<br /> It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, firm, partnership or corporation
<br /> engaged in the electrical business to operate a truck, fleet of trucks, or vehicle
<br /> used for the purpose of conveying electrical supplies, materials, and tools
<br /> used for the purpose of performing electrical work to and from electrical job
<br /> sites, unless such truck or vehicles so used has plainly displayed thereon the
<br /> name of the person, firm, partnership or corporation operating such truck or
<br /> vehicle.
<br /> Section 9: PERMIT-REQUIRED.
<br /> It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to install, alter,
<br /> replace or extend any electrical equipment without first obtaining and having in full
<br /> force and effect, a permit for such installation, alteration, replacement or extension
<br /> from the City Electrical Inspector of the City of Everett.
<br /> Application for permit for such installation, replacement, alteration or
<br /> extension of any electrical equipment, together with required fee, shall be filed
<br /> with the City Electrical Inspector, which application shall state the name of the
<br /> owner or occupant of the premises, the location of the same and the nature and
