Phase 1A — Utility Bridge <br /> 1. Project Management and Administration <br /> This task will cover all management associated with the utility bridge work. <br /> 2. Topographic and Boundary Survey <br /> The survey task is to create a base map for the utility bridge project design. <br /> 3. Geotechnical Investigation and Recommendations <br /> This task is to do the work necessary to develop geological recommendations and a <br /> geotechnical discipline report for the design of the utility bridge. <br /> 4. Structural Engineering <br /> Work associated with Utility Bridge includes all work on the uplands side of the bridge, the <br /> utilities crossing the bridge, the utilities approximately 50-feet beyond the west bridge <br /> landing, the site work associated with the west landing and the undergrounding of overhead <br /> utilities in conflict with the bridge. <br /> 5. Civil Engineering <br /> The design shall include the bridge superstructure and foundations from the abutment near <br /> the Grand Avenue Park, over BNSF and SR529 and ending at an elevator/stairway support <br /> structure on the Port of Everett property. <br /> 6. Combined Sewer and Stormwater Coordination <br /> Work will include conceptual planning of the combined sewer outfall and stormwater sewer <br /> routing to PSO3. Hydraulic design criteria, pressure rating, and recommended pipe size for <br /> the combined sewer outfall and stormwater outfall pipe crossings of the proposed Grand <br /> Avenue Park Bridge shall be provided. <br /> 7. Architecture and Bridge Aesthetics Collaboration <br /> This task is to develop the aesthetic components of the utility bridge geometry, materials <br /> and details. <br /> 8. Electrical Engineering <br /> The electrical work associated with this task will be to provide lighting for the utility bridge. <br /> 9. Landscape Architecture and Irrigation Design <br /> For the utility bridge portion of the project, the scope will include the design of site work <br /> including pedestrian paving, site furnishings, conceptual site grading, soil preparation in <br /> planting areas, planting and irrigation associated with the return of the site to the condition <br /> prior to construction. <br /> 10. BNSF Support <br /> Support will include coordination with BNSF and work associated with the BNSF review <br /> process for the utility bridge. <br /> 11. Public Outreach <br /> The team will assist the City in developing and implementing a public outreach program. <br /> 12.
