Civil Engineering (KPFF) <br /> KPFF shall perform the civil engineering work for the preparation of Plans, Specifications, and <br /> Estimate (PSE) of the Grand Avenue Utility/Pedestrian Bridge. The construction documents <br /> shall be used for obtaining construction permits and for the construction of the proposed <br /> improvements. Work associated with "Utility Bridge" includes all work on the uplands side of the <br /> bridge, the utilities crossing the bridge, the utilities approximately 50-feet beyond the west <br /> bridge landing, the sitework associated with the west landing and the undergrounding of <br /> overhead utilities in conflict with the bridge. <br /> KPFF Civil will be responsible for the design and documentation of the follow elements: <br /> • Horizontal and vertical control of the bridge alignment in relation to existing terrain and <br /> improvements. Major bridge and landing elements will be tied to established survey <br /> monumentation. <br /> • Site demolition and erosion control documentation. <br /> • Pavement design for asphalt and concrete pavements based on HWA GeoScience Inc's <br /> recommendations. <br /> KPFF Consulting Engineer November 10, 2014 <br /> Grand Avenue Park Utility Bridge, Phase 1A Page 18 of 55 <br />
