• Public Open House Events (2) <br /> • Meetings with Snohomish PUD (2) <br /> • Meetings with Port of Everett (1) <br /> • Meetings with private utility purveyors (2) <br /> 5.2 —Type Size and Location (TSL) Phase <br /> KPFF Civil shall review survey for location of existing utilities and Sewer M project design plans <br /> for storm and CSO locations. Prepare a concept utility design starting at the Sewer M stubs in <br /> Grand Avenue, continuing under the bridge to approximately 50-feet beyond west bridge <br /> landing. Also prepare conceptual design for undergrounding overhead power and <br /> communications beneath the Utility/pedestrian Bridge. Prepare a narrative to complement the <br /> conceptual design. <br /> 5.3—30 Percent PSE <br /> KPFF Civil shall prepare 30 percent level plans per the list outlined at the end of this section. <br /> The purpose of this design phase is to confirm the bridge and landing concept design prepared <br /> in the TS&L phase; establish a firmer concept for the proposed park and street improvements; <br /> establish the utility routing approach; and have sufficient documentation for pricing. This phase <br /> will require interaction with project stakeholders including initial submittal to BNSF. <br /> Assumptions <br /> • Site Demolition and Erosion Control plans are not included in the 30% submittal. <br /> • Detail sheets are not included in the 30% submittal. <br /> • Specifications are not included. <br /> 5.4— 60 Percent PSE <br /> KPFF Civil shall prepare 60 percent level plans and specifications per the list outlined at the end <br /> of this section. The purpose of this design phase is to firmly establish all project design <br /> elements with enough documentation to feel confident of the cost estimate and coordination <br /> with all stakeholders and design team members. This set is expected to be submitted for initial <br /> permit application reviews. Additionally this set will be used to begin resolution of utility <br /> conflicts. <br /> 5.5 —90 Percent PSE <br /> KPFF Civil shall prepare 90 percent level plans and specifications per the list outlined at the end <br /> of this section. The purpose of this design phase is to complete the construction documents <br /> and confirm cost estimates. There should be no major changes to the program in this phase. <br /> All detailing shall be completed at this stage of design. <br /> 5.6 — 100 Percent (Final) PSE <br /> KPFF Civil shall finalize plans and specifications based on 90 percent review comments and <br /> final internal QA/QC. The purpose of this design phase is to finalize the construction documents <br /> for bid.
