8. Electrical Engineering (Sparling) <br /> Sparling will provide professional electrical engineering services to prepare electrical <br /> construction documents for this project. The electrical work associated with this task will be to <br /> provide lighting for the utility bridge. <br /> Sparling will prepare and submit invoices to KPFF on a monthly basis. It is understood that <br /> general coordination with other design team members will be required. This coordination <br /> includes, but is not limited to, status updates, design team meetings, and general <br /> correspondence. <br /> Based upon the preliminary design, the scope of work for this phase is understood to consist of <br /> a bridge with utility crossings (approximately 600 feet in length) extending across Marine View <br /> Drive and the adjacent BNSF right-of-way. Included will be deliverables for the tasks listed <br /> below. <br /> 8.1 —Schematic Design <br /> Import base files from client and set up schematic drawing sheets. Provide site inspection to <br /> identify existing conditions. Meet with design team to identify programming elements for bridge <br /> and site. Contact utility providers to verify utilities for service and relocation. <br /> 8.2 — 60% Design <br /> Update base files. Review lighting products with Owner and assist with product selection. <br /> Provide initial lighting calculations for site and bridge lighting elements. Coordinate with utilities <br /> and design communication, primary and secondary conduit\vault infrastructure. Design bridge <br /> lighting and electrical including utility crossing systems on bridge. Prepare PUD application and <br /> drawings for electrical service. Provide outline spec and estimate of costs. <br /> 8.3 — 90% Design <br /> Update base files. Provide electrical design including circuiting, conduit, junction boxes, and <br /> details on all site and bridge design elements. Provide electrical calculations and loads verifying <br /> electrical design. Review lighting products with Owner and assist with product selection. <br /> Provide lighting calculations for site and bridge lighting elements. Provide final lighting <br /> calculations and product cut sheets. Submit PUD application for electrical service. Submit <br /> utility crossing plans with respective providers. Provide updated spec and estimate of costs. <br /> 8.4—Construction Documents <br /> Provide final sealed PSE documents suitable for public bid. <br /> Deliverables (Electronic format to KPFF) <br /> • Plans per the Project Sheet List <br /> • Specifications, cost estimates, and calculations per the Project Submittal List <br /> • Product Cut Sheets <br /> KPFF Consulting Engineer November 10, 2014 <br /> Grand Avenue Park Utility Bridge, Phase 1A Page 26 of 55 <br />
