Landscape Architecture & Irrigation Design (Swift) <br /> Swift Company LLC shall be providing urban design and landscape architecture including <br /> pedestrian hardscape from back side of curb including paving, and furnishings; planting soil, <br /> landscape planting and irrigation design documents, technical specifications, and construction <br /> details for all landscape areas of this project. These final plans and specification will be <br /> prepared in City of Everett preferred format with specific bid items to be determined in the <br /> future. Extent of project shall be: <br /> • Top of Bridge: Assume the park area and slope to BNSF from 16th Street to 17th Street, <br /> including the intersection of 16th and Grand Avenue. <br /> • Bottom of Bridge: Assume the area from the edge of the existing finished parking lot for <br /> the Lombardi Restaurant to the Phase 1 boundary location. <br /> For the Utility Bridge portion of the project, the scope will include site work associated with the <br /> return of the site to the condition prior to construction. Swift Company LLC shall prepare a <br /> conceptual site plan indicating landscape plantings, bike route influences, streetscape, <br /> hardscape and pedestrian improvements including furnishings as required elements for the City <br /> of Everett and Port of Everett review, as well as in response to program elements defined by the <br /> owner. Swift Company LLC shall be responsible for the design, documentation including <br /> drawings and specifications, cost estimating and construction administration for the following <br /> elements: <br /> • Hardscape including pedestrian paving from back side of curbs, furnishings, planting soil <br /> preparation, planting, mulch, and irrigation with associated schedules <br /> • Provide horizontal control of above improvements <br /> • Prepare conceptual grading for scope area with final documentation starting at 60% phase <br /> by Civil Engineer <br /> KPFF Consulting Engineer November 10, 2014 <br /> Grand Avenue Park Utility Bridge, Phase 1A Page 27 of 55 <br />
